MARIA JOSE BENVENUTO
NATURE'S PULSE
18 SEP – 4 NOV 2024
The exhibition showcases a vibrant series of abstract paintings inspired by the landscape memories of North Head National Park in Manly, Australia, the setting of Benvenuto's creative space.
In 'Nature's Pulse,' Benvenuto captures the dynamic energy of contrasting colors, creating an atmosphere of contemplation. The series is guided by intuition and emerges directly from the subconscious, drawing on the deep reservoirs of memory. These fundamental elements of color, form, and composition are interwoven to evoke the essence of landscapes.
SUMAYYAH SAMAHA
LINES AND FORMS
18 SEP – 4 NOV 2024
‘Lines and Forms’ showcases a dynamic range of works that are rooted in spontaneity and the intuitive interplay between forms and lines. Each piece in the series begins with the artist laying down forms on a blank canvas, allowing one form to naturally lead to another, creating a visual conversation. These forms, each with its own narrative, are connected by lines that serve as guiding threads, helping the viewer navigate the complex stories that unfold across the canvas.
The exhibition unveils Samaha’s exploration of form, line, and color in a series that began in 2014 and continues to evolve with each new creation.
