Workshop with Artist Chafa Ghaddar

This workshop takes paper as its starting point and invites the participants to look at it as a space holder of elements, gestures, traces and knowledge. After examining different drawings on a table, the participants will be guided to explore this medium as a mental act, a way of thinking and an accumulation of gestures, and treat paper, conceptually and physically, as a host of those acts, a space for imagination to be enacted. This will result in exploring new ways of drawing and interacting with the paper medium.
